About Us

onetrue step provides supported living and employment to adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs. We are a small developing company based in Weston-Super-Mare, operating all over North Somerset. We support people who live in their own home, with parents or carers and in residential care.

We support people to become more independent by working alongside them to develop their skills, to access community and leisure activities and to find paid employment. We also offer the opportunity to meet new people and we are currently developing an alternative short breaks service.

When we start to work with an individual we discuss their support plan which they have put together with their social worker. This means that we look at each outcome and then show what success will look like and how we are going to support them to make that happen.

When people are becoming more independent and learning new skills we will look to reduce their support through reviews and discussion with the person and their family.
